My Vegas Love Story films couples in Las Vegas. This page explains what we collect when you use this website or book a film, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you ask us to change or delete it. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
1. Who we are
My Vegas Love Story is operated by Vincent Mei, a sole proprietor doing business as My Vegas Love Story, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Vincent Mei is the business responsible for the information described here.
Privacy questions and requests go to vincent@vincentmei.com. That is also our designated request address under Nevada law.
2. What we collect
What you give us on this site. The inquiry form asks for your name and email address. You may also add the dates you are in town and a short note about the moment you want filmed. Nothing else is required.
What you give us while we work together. If you book a film, we collect what the job needs: your phone number, billing details, the names of the people on camera, locations, timing, and the notes from your creative direction session.
Photographs, video, and audio. Filming produces images, video, and audio of the people on camera. That footage is personal information, and section 7 covers it specifically.
What is collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard request information, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to keep the site up and to stop abuse. We use your IP address briefly to rate limit the inquiry form so it cannot be flooded.
Cookies and tracking. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media tracking pixels. Our fonts are served from our own site, not from a third party. If we add advertising or analytics later, this page changes first and says what changed.
Payments. We do not collect or store card numbers on this website. Payment is handled directly between you and Vincent through the method confirmed in your booking.
3. Why we use it
We use the information above to:
- reply to your inquiry and answer your questions
- check availability, hold a date, and plan and deliver your film
- take payment and keep the records a business is required to keep
- keep the website secure and working
- show finished work in our portfolio and marketing, on the terms you agree to when you book, which section 7 explains
We do not use your information to build a profile of you, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum needed with the service providers who run parts of this business for us. Today those are:
- Vercel, which hosts and serves this website and its request logs
- Resend, which delivers the inquiry form to our inbox as an email
- Email and file delivery, meaning the mail provider we use to correspond with you and the service we use to hand over your finished film
These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it for anyone else's advertising, and we have not done so in the past twelve months.
5. If you live in Nevada
Nevada law lets residents tell a website operator not to sell their covered information. We do not sell it and have no plans to. If you want that on the record anyway, send a request from the email address you used with us to vincent@vincentmei.com, our designated request address, and we will confirm in writing.
6. If you live in California, another state, or outside the US
Several states and countries give people rights over their personal information. We honor the following for anyone who asks, wherever you live, rather than checking your address first:
- ask what we hold about you and get a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete it, apart from records we are required to keep
- ask us to stop using your footage in future marketing, which section 7 explains
- withdraw a consent you previously gave
- be told what we do, without being treated differently for asking
Email vincent@vincentmei.com and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm you are who you say you are first, which usually means replying from the email address on your booking.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, our legal bases are performing the contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and marketing a small creative business, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with the law. Your film is made in the United States and your information is handled here.
7. Your footage, your likeness, and your face online
Granting us the right to use footage from your film in our portfolio and marketing is part of booking. It is stated in the Terms and confirmed in writing before we shoot, and it is how a small studio proves what it does. It is not something you find out about afterwards.
What that permission does not do is override you as a person. If you later want your film out of what we publish, email us. We will remove it from this website and our own social accounts and stop using it in anything new, within 30 days.
Two honest limits. We cannot claw back a copy someone else already downloaded, reposted, or printed, and we cannot recall an ad that already ran. And asking us to stop publishing is not the same as asking us to delete the original footage, which we keep as our own work under section 8 unless you ask us in writing to destroy it.
Anyone who appears on camera can make that request themselves, not only the person who booked. Where someone under 18 appears, a parent or guardian gives or withdraws that permission.
8. How long we keep it
Inquiries that never become bookings are deleted within about 24 months. Booking records, agreements, and payment records are kept for at least four years because tax and business law requires it. Finished films and the footage behind them stay in our archive and portfolio unless you ask us in writing to destroy them.
9. How we protect it
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and access controls on our accounts, and we keep the list of people who can see your information short, which for the most part means Vincent. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as Nevada law requires.
10. Children
This website is meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Email from us
We email you about your inquiry and your booking. The inquiry form does not add you to a marketing list. If we ever start one, you will have to opt in, and every send will carry an unsubscribe link.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address. A material change to how we use your footage gets told to you directly, not buried in a page update.
